Voor ‘t Labo proud of cooperation with Red Cross-Flanders

At the end of 2014, the Red Cross-Flanders conducted a market study for the replacement of 15 bank centrifuges. Voor ‘t Labo suggested, in collaboration with Hettich, the Roto Silenta 630 RS and obtained the order after a thorough comparison and testing period.

In April 2015, 8 centrifuges were put into service in the brand new campus in Mechelen where daily 750 to 800 sachets of blood are processed. In June it was Ghent’s turn: in the renewed production centre, which processed 550-600 bags every day, the existing blood bank centrifuges were replaced with the Hettich Roto Silenta 630 RS.

Dr. José Coene, Medical service head of production and logistics (Service for the Blood): “The smooth and expert support throughout the selection process – from the initial presentation of the machine to the last validation runs – by both the manufacturer Hettich and by Voor ‘t Labo – has certainly also contributed to our choice. “

With that, Carmen Van Waeyenberghe, owner of Voor ‘t Labo, is pleased: “Both in terms of products and services we strive for perfection. So we only do business with producers and suppliers in wich we have 100% confidence. That we can collaborate with Red Cross-Flanders is a sign that our experience, expertise and customer-oriented way of working is paying off.
