The MIKRO 220 Robotic is an air-cooled, robotically operated microliter centrifuge with PC control. Wherever processes can be automated, the Robotic optimizes the workflow. The centrifuge rotates tubes up to 2.0 ml, e.g. microliter tubes or HPLC tubes, quickly and safely. ‘Robotics’ specializes the centrifuge for sample preparation in life sciences research laboratories, as well as for daily routine tasks in medical diagnostics or industrial quality control.

The HPLC technique is used in many fields of application, including the evaluation of clinical samples for their vitamin D content. This also applies to the PCR used to detect HIV or hepatitis. With its swing-out rotors for microliter tubes and HPLC tubes, respectively, the Mikro 220 robotic is well suited for HTP laboratories.
In the field of food analysis and molecular biology, respectively, HPLC and PCR are very commonly used, for example, when performing DNA extraction. Automated centrifugation of microliter tubes or HPLC injection vials in swing-out rotors is recommended in the sample preparation process in HTP laboratories.
